If you are a professional photographer, then corporate event photography will be fairly easy for you. It would be best if you come to the location early to figure out where the best photos can be taken. Where is the main speaker going to stand and where can you take clear shots without blocking the view of the audience? Can you bring the company’s logo in the shorts? What position will be the best position for you to make most of the positions?
That’s not enough, the results of the corporate event photography depend on the types of lenses that are best according to the event. The best ones are:
You will need long and short zoom lens. For the main speaker, you would want to use the long telephoto lens so that you can zoom at him as much as you can. It won’t be easy to run up and down the aisle for focusing right. So, it is best that you have short zoom lens for shooting the attendees. For the group shots, keep the aperture small enough so that you can keep everyone in focus. It will typically be f/5.6 or even more.
Corporate event photography demands a photographer to be fast and, of course, personable. If you have all the best lenses and gears in your kit, you will enjoy shooting the events. The results will be great too and you will be hired by the same clients again.
